Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will:
Understand the Connections Screener and its implementation in schools.
Action plan how a Connections screener can evolve in your school's environment.
Experiment with a new Connections process that is suitable for you (this may be small group of students, your classroom, a grade level, etc.).
Decide how to utilize your data in order to support students.
Evaluate the effectiveness of your new Connections screening process.
Time
Estimated Course Length: 5-10 hours of engaged time on BRIDGE-RI plus approximately 10 hours of asynchronous implementation work, which includes follow up tasks and time for administration of survey and data analysis (which will vary from team to team).
Professional Learning Units (PLUs): 20
- Your certificate for 20 PLUs will unlock when you have finished all required course activities and the course evaluation.
- Please view the certificate when you complete the course. The certificate will also be emailed to you and you can easily access it from your BRIDGE-RI profile in the upper right corner. It is your responsibility to submit this documentation for Professional Learning Units.
