Supporting Student Regulation to Prevent and Manage Escalations
BRIDGE-RI is excited to announce that we have a new self-paced course where you can explore best practices to support student self-regulation to prevent and manage behavior escelations.
In this course, you will learn the basics about neurodiversity, how it can present in the educational setting, how to support neurodiverse students and lastly, how to effectively engage families of neurodiverse students.
This course is the first in a series on BRIDGE-RI to support co-teaching implementation. You will be provided with the foundational information needed to build your knowledge base for the full series. More specifically you will learn about the legal, ethical, and research foundations for co-teaching, along with a high-level overview of the co-teaching models.
Establishing Classroom Communities for Student Success
Building a strong classroom community is more important than ever. The elements of a strong classroom community include; agreements, routines, engagement, relationships, the physical space, and ongoing reflection for improvement. This course offers a “choose your own adventure” experience in which you select the specific areas on which you would like to focus!
BRIDGE-RI, the home of MTSS in RI, is designed to increase school and district implementation of MTSS and evidence-based practices with fidelity by providing resources and effective learning opportunities for educators.
